Ozzy Announces Farewell Tour

Today, Ozzy Osbourne announced that he will be embarking on a “farewell world tour” beginning next year, that will last until 2020.

Much like Black Sabbath, Ozzy’s original band, while the Prince of Darkness may be retiring as a touring artist, he still plans to play at select shows following the tour.

In an official statement, Ozzy commented that, “people keep asking me when I’m retiring. This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.”

The Farewell Tour kicks off with a May 2018 start that will pass through Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and four dates in Brazil. Following that will be a pair of dates in Russia in early June, which will be followed by a month-long trek through Europe. These European dates will see Ozzy appear at multiple music festivals across the continent.

Any details for the North American part of the tour will be announced early next year. Ozzy will be accompanied by Zakk Wylde on guitar, Blasko on bass, Tommy Clufetos on the drums, and Adam Wakeman on the keyboards.
