The Avett Brothers Will Headline Hurricane Florence Relief Concert

On Tuesday, November 13, The Avett Brothers will host a benefit concert for Hurricane Florence relief in North Carolina. All proceeds will go towards helping survivors of the deadly storm that flooded areas of North and South Carolina, and Virginia during September.

Future Islands and Valient Thorr will also perform. The event will be put on at the Minges Coliseum and sponsored by Inner Banks Media, East Carolina University, The City of Greenville, and Uptown Greenville, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and upgrading the city of Greenville.

An article on Consequence of Sound has this statement from singer Seth Avett, “We are honored by the opportunity to contribute to our friends and neighbors affected by Hurricane Florence. We hope this performance not only provides some financial relief for victims of the storm, but also is an occasion to celebrate the resilience of the people of North Carolina.”

The best seats will be available for $75 while upper level tickets will cost $65.Tickets can be purchased here starting Friday, October 12.
