Lollapalooza 2020 Canceled

Lollapalooza 2020 was officially canceled due to Coronavirus on Tuesday, June 9. The festival made an announcement via Twitter at noon. According to the tweet, the festival’s priority is public health and safety, so unfortunately this summer’s festival will not go on as planned.

The tweet did say that as for now, the plans for Lollapalooza will resume for its 30th anniversary in the summer of 2021. To honor the weekend that Lolla was scheduled for, July 30-August 2, the festival will host a virtual event featuring concert footage from previous Lollapalooza festivals worldwide.
