5. Mac Miller- Sunday Nov 1st- The Big Top- 8:20-9:20

Mac Miller started his rap career at 15 but he didn’t find success until the release of Blue Slide Park in 2011. To say he found success might be an understatement as his album become the first independently distributed album to hit number one on the billboard top 200 since 1995. His old school style and relentless work ethic has helped solidify Millers spot in hip-hop.

Last year Mac Miller released his 10th solo mix tape with Faces but even more recently he released his new album GO:OD am in September. The album is his third consecutive top 10 album release as it secured a spot at number 6 on the Billboard top 200. GO:OD am is also the debut studio album for Mac Millers own record label REMember Music under Warner Bros. Records.

4. Action Bronson- Friday Oct 30th- The Shrine- 8:20-9:20

Arian Aslanni who goes by the stage name of Action Bronson but he wasn’t always a famous rapper from Queens. He always considered music a hobby, but It wasn’t until Aslanni broke his leg in the kitchen that he was able to focus on a rap career.

Action Bronsons newest album Mr. Wonderful is his first release for a major label since signing with Atlantic and Vice records and it reached the 7th spot on Billboards top 200. Mr. Wonderful featured hit songs like Actin Crazy and Baby Blue with Chance The Rapper.

The album featured tracks with Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Nikki Minaj which helped it secure the number one spot among the Billboard top 200.

2 Chainz sophomore album B.O.A.T.S II #METIME had just as many featured artists, but failed to receive the same critical acclaim he received from Based on a T.R.U. Story. Ready to redeem himself, 2 Chainz is back with his third album titled Trap-A-Velli Tre which was released back in August. His newest album scrapped most of the cameo performances as 2 Chainz skips the hook heavy tracks and revisits his roots.

The album debuted at number 5 on Billboards top 200 and it helped solidify his spot among the hip-hop community. Joey Bada$$ was once known as JayOhVee but he changed it to Joey Bada$$ because the media tends to focus more on rappers with cynical names.
