Here’s Everything We Know About Miley Cyrus’ Upcoming Album
Former Disney icon, Miley Cyrus, is having a moment right now. Cyrus released the single “Midnight Sky” in August. Then, in late September, Cyrus covered Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” at the iHeart Festival, which went viral on TikTok. The video has received over 9 million views and got fans excited for Miley’s potential tap into rock music, rather than her previous pop discography.
After covering “Heart of Glass,” Cyrus covered The Cranberries’ “Zombie” for the Save Our Stages Fest in October. Listen below:
Most recently, Cyrus was joined by former Fleetwood Mac member and witchy icon, Stevie Nicks, for a remix of “Midnight Sky.” The song is remixed with Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen,” and is entitled “Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix)(feat. Stevie Nicks).” Listen below:
Then, on October 22, Cyrus took to Twitter to share more details about the forthcoming album. The album, Plastic Hearts, will be released on November 27. The album will feature the two covers, as well as “Midnight Sky.” Cyrus also tweeted a long handwritten note about the meaning behind the album, after announcing it’s upcoming release.
