Snail Mail To Release Debut Album

Coming off her successful EP, “Habit” and recent tour locations, Lindsey Jordan, (known by her solo moniker Snail Mail) is set to release her first full length album. It’s titled, “Lush” and is planned to release on June 8 through Matador Records.

She is a musician that seems to be increasingly coming into her own

She recently released a single to that album, including the track “Heat Wave,” which has an official video linked below this article.

It gives the impression that her new album will have a less lo-fi sound than her 2016 EP, but still contains that same melancholy that defines her clear yet piercing voice from previous hits like “Thinning.” These singles are impressive steps forward for a 19-year-old solo artist.

Along with this, she is in the midst of a long, extensive tour that has hardly just begun. She will be all over North America with other indie legends on Belle & Sebastian and Japanese Breakfast. Along with visiting several other Midwest venues, she will appear at Chicago’s Subterranean on June 16.

She’s a rising underground star worth attention not only for her lyrical and musical abilities, but for her impressive stance among well established artists.
