RR Weekend playlist 6/12-13-14/2015

Can’t sleep?

Here are a few songs picked by the RR team from our weekend playlist to get you through those deep thoughts of yours, keep updated for some more.

*Diplo- Sarah
Album- Florida

“This song is really good with acoustic noises and an old school hip hop flow from the first album Diplo released back in who knows how many years, it’s a great song that you can actually flow to and would love to hear live”

*Zedd – “Clarity”
Album: Clarity

“When most people hear Zedd’s name, they think ‘Clarity’. Though this is one of his most played and more mainstream tracks, it has an extremely catchy beat and awesome lyrics. Plus, everyone knows the words to sing along!!”

*Eric Prydz – Call On Me
Album – Call On Me EP

“An oldie but a goodie! Although this song is a few years old, it’s one that nearly everyone knows. With a great catchy beat and unique remix perfect for summer, it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser, and be stuck in people’s heads for days after.”

*Seven Lions – You Got to Go (remix)
Album – Ultra Dubstep

“Although this a remix of an Amazing Above & Beyond song, I love Seven Lion’s version of it. The heavy, slow drops that define the indie electronica genre are intertwined with an uplifting melody. This song is what EDM is is all about: filling your heart, bringing tears of joy and living in the moment. This song is beautiful.”

*Adventure Club – Retro City

“This song rocks! Taking you on an electric ride through the city, maybe its just the fact that Chicago is right here and it definitely gives off that character in the name Retro. Those sounds make you want to just jump, head bang or whatever you do.”

*Tiësto- Bullets (Club Mix)

Album- Club Life: Volume One Las Vegas

Released in 2011 on one of his Club Life series albums, this is a personal favorite because it just sounds so different from anything Tiësto has done. Definitely one of his more laid back, indie electronic tracks that differ greatly from his usual house or trance tracks, this remix of Swedish DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona’s “Bullets” will show you a different and diverse sound from Tiësto. This is a great track that can provide audiences with a chance to chill out and catch their breath after all the fist pumping.
