One of the few artists that I’ve seen work towards building a buzz for themselves is, Da Baby. Da Baby is back with his third visual, “Goin Baby,” from his Baby on Baby project.
Da Baby is well known for his turnt lyrics, comedic visuals, and of course, this video is as funny as his visuals for Suge (Yea Yea) and Walker Texas Ranger.
A few months ago, I used to hear my friends listen to Da Baby, and at the time, I was unsure on how to feel about him or his music. From the first time that I’ve heard him up until now, I’ve seen him build a bigger following and I’m a fan of his marketing tactics.
Most rappers are serious all the time, but I see that he’s open to using comedy to attract people to his music and brand, and that’s what I’ve seen have people gravitate towards him. Listening to him explain more about his self and who he is as a person in interviews that I’ve seen him do have also made me give him a chance.
