The highly anticipated Lollapalooza lineup was released Wednesday,  Mar. 22.  Headliners include Muse, Lorde, Cage the Elephant, Wiz Khalifa, Blink-182, The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Zeds Dead and others.

Once a long-awaited lineup is revealed, many are quick to jump on the news and elaborate on the headliners and more “well-known” acts. This article does the opposite and sheds light on some of the lesser-known acts.

On the first day of the festival [Thursday, Aug. 3], a Chicago-native rapper, and an indie band from Australia will both be making their Lollapalooza debuts.

At just 19-years-old, Kweku Collins will be making his Lolla debut.  Collins is a rapper from Evanston, Illinois, and released his first full-length album, Nat Love, last April. Check out his music here and show the Chicago-native some love on day one of Lolla.

On Friday, Aug. 4, be sure not to miss Missio and Slothrust.

Also from California is Indie-Pop band, Flor. Their debut album, come out. you’re hiding, will be released May 19, which gives fans plenty of time to listen to them before their Lollapalooza debut. Give their EP, Sounds, a listen.

Whether this is your first Lollapalooza, or your twentieth, try to catch a set of an act you may not normally go to. Who knows, it could end up being a new favorite to listen to.
