Eminem and Royce Da 5’9 Launch Promising New Initiative for Social Change
Eminem updated his website to officially announce the new role of Royce Da 5’9 at the Marshall Mathers Foundation. The Detroit rapper, a friend, and frequent collaborator of M’s will be joining the foundation as Director of Community Engagement and Social Justice Initiatives.
On Sunday, the pair made a joint statement about the partnership: “It’s a question everybody should be asking themselves right now, ‘How can I do more?’ We both recognize that by working together to expand the Marshall Mathers Foundation’s mission, we CAN do more. And we can do it quickly, effectively, and with real impact.”
It’s always refreshing to see artists express excitement about dedicating their extensive resources to positive social change.
