Jimmy Eat World: Riviera Theater, May 8th, 2018

Famous pop punk band, Jimmy Eat Worldis going on tour to celebrate their 2016 album “Integrity Blues“, One of the stops is at the famous, Chicago Riviera Theater, located at, 4746 N.Racine Ave. This most recent album of theirs was met with overall positive reviews, with many claiming Jimmy Eat World has reemerged back onto the popular rock genre as a force to reckon with.

Notable bands, The Hotelier, and Microwave will be opening at their Chicago show. The Hotelier’s most recent two albums, “Home, Like Noplace Is There”, which was released in 2014 and “Goodness”, released in 2016, have put them on the indie emo map. Given that they share that emo origin, it may be interesting to see how the sounds of both groups build off one another while sharing the venue.

Jimmy Eat World is planning to visit dozens of venues over the year 2018, so in case you can’t catch them while they visit Chicago, their full tour dates and cities have been posted below. Many of these shows will also feature The Hotelier and Microwave. Also joining them in a few performances will be The Struts, Alex Lahey, and Turnover.
