Earlier this morning, the organizers of Chicago’s Riot Fest announced their 2017 line up. Set to take place in Douglas Park on September 15 – 17, over 70 artists have been announced in the first wave of line up announcements, the headliners being Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, and Jawbreaker. Other inclusions have been New Order, Paramore, Prophets of Rage, M.I.A., Wu-Tang Clan, a set from DJ Mike D of the Beastie Boys, and an exclusive 40th-anniversary set by punk-hardcore legends Bad Brains with special appearances by Ministry and Vic Mensa.
Tickets for Riot Fest will go on sale at noon (CST) today (April 19th) with general admission and VIP options available through Ticketfly.
The remaining bands will be announced in May. On Thursday, April 20, the organizers will announce which select artists will be playing their seminal album for the festival. Of course, Riot Fest will feature rides, games, and other attractions. Numerous food vendors will also be provided to the festival goers. You can find the announcement on the official website to see if any of your favorites will be playing.
