Guns N’ Roses Announce Reissue of Appetite For Destruction

After the appearance of a countdown timer on their website, and rumors of a reunion featuring, original rhythm guitarist, Izzy Stradlin and drummer, Steven Adler, which turned out to be false, Guns N’ Roses have officially announced a reissue of their debut album, Appetite For Destruction, to celebrate the album’s thirty-first anniversary.

The PRP released the details on the reissue, called the ‘Locked N’ Loaded’ edition of Appetite for Destruction.

“A since deleted unboxing video for the set leaked early and shared some details of what to expect from it. 73 tracks are to be included in the elaborate box set, 49 of which are previously unreleased. In addition to a remastered version of the original album, 25 unreleased songs from the band’s 1986 sessions at Sound City will be included, as will two from their recording sessions with [‘Appetite’] producer Mike Clink. The group’s early EP ‘Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP’ will also be featured. A super deluxe version also boasts a 96-page book with photos from Axl Rose‘s personal archives and more.”

The set will also include a music video for, “It’s So Easy,” which never saw an official release from MTV in 1987 because of how racy it was. The band has also put out a music video for the first single, “Shadow of Your Love,” which is one of the potentially many songs that haven’t seen the light of day for thirty-some years.

‘Locked N’ Loaded’ will be released on, June 29 with numerous versions for you to buy, one of which being a version that runs a mere $1,000 with only 10,000 editions being made.

You can pre-order any of these versions here, and watch the music video for “Shadow of Your Love” below.
